BIM appoints new Director of R&D and Technology
BIM, the entrepreneurial supplier of specialty chemical solutions to the pulp and paper industry, has appointed John Sandström as Director of R &D and Technology John Sandström will enter his new position on October 24, 2016.
John Sandström will have responsibility for the overall research and development strategy focusing on development of current and new product concept strengthening BIM’s position as strategic partner to the pulp and paper industry. With John’s strong background and experience combined with his genuine interest in managing development projects and innovations to success, BIM is set for an exciting innovative course.

John holds a BSc in Chemistry combined with a Degree of Licentiate of Science. He has over 25 years of experience of RD&I positions in global companies. John comes to BIM after 17 years at Eka Chemicals AB/AkzoNobel Pulp and Performance Chemicals AB where he has been holding different positions such as Continuous Improvement Expert/Black Belt, Director RD&I and Department Manager for various areas.
